Fireworks and Bonfire Night

In Reception we have been learning about the firework safety code. We watched a video of some beautiful fireworks at Disneyland and we talked about the patterns and colours we could see. We know only grown ups can touch fireworks and if we use a sparkler we must wear gloves and put it in a bucket of water at the end.

We took part in some child initiated activities and got creative! We even used our maths work on 3D shapes to make a rocket.
