Maths
In maths this week, year 3 have been looking at lines, angles and 2D shapes. We have learnt how to identify parallel lines, angles (right, acute and obtuse) and what the properties are of a range of different shapes.
To help us remember properties of different shapes we played a game that described the shape and we had to draw it. Can you spot us drawing a three sided shape with three vertices?
This game was really interesting as it showed us that not all shapes look the same, they can have different length sides or have different sized angles!

We then completed a big table with all the information we have learnt this lesson and stuck it in our books. Great mathematician work today everyone!
