Over the last couple of days, Year 4 have been getting arty! We were inspired by our topic, London, to create a beautiful skyline with a watercolour background.
We started by practising in our sketchbooks fading different colours of watercolour. We learnt which colours mixed well using our knowledge of the colour wheel.
We then went on to practise sketching the skyline, using pictures of famous London buildings to inspire us.
We then transferred our designs onto black card and combined them onto our watercolour backgrounds and assembled our frames.
