Wow what a term!
We have had such a busy first term in Year 1 and the children have all worked so hard throughout. We ended this year and term on a high with so much excitement to finish off our current forest topic.
In Design and Technology after much anticipation we made our smoothies! We had so much fun following the recipe and combining the ingredients to finally testing our products. We even designed packaging for them too!
We also ended our forest topic by having a well deserved treat in the forest! Mrs Rawding our Forest expert showed us how to have a safe fire in the forest. We even got to toast marshmallows and learnt about what a fire needs to be able to thrive and what we need to do to respect the fire. We then ended the treat by having a lovely warming cup of hot chocolate around the log circle.
We cannot forge to mention the children's absolutely outstanding Nativity performances! Didn't they just blow you away?! We were so impressed with the professionalism of the children and how hard they worked to give you their best ever performance. We were so glad that the children were able to perform for you after all of their hard work in rehearsals.
Well done to the children for working so hard this term. We really hope you are all able to have a happy and healthy Christmas break with your families.
