Highwayman Performance Poetry

We have been learning the haunting tale of 'The Highwayman'. We have been introduced to a wide range of vocabulary that the author uses to create a sense of atmosphere.

In groups, we were given a section of the text and several instruments. We discussed how we could best represent the words using sounds. We then performed to the rest of the class alongside a reading of the text. Each group had a completely different interpretation of the poem.
