Year 1 Newsletter

What a super start to the Summer term! Year 1 have kicked off their exciting new topic, 'Oh I do like to be beside the seaside', by producing some beautiful artwork. They have created pastel drawings of the house from 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' and a huge seaside painting.

In Science we have been learning about the seasons and today was the perfect day to go on a Spring scavenger hunt. We looked out for signs of Spring such as daffodils, twigs with buds on, bumble bees and birds singing. What signs of Spring can you find in the garden or in the park?
