Class Artists in Year 1

Miro and Hepworth have been having a fantastic time settling into Year 1! The children have picked up the new routines quickly and are feeling at home in their new classrooms.

We have really enjoyed learning about our class artists, Joan Miro and Barbara Hepworth. Inspired by these artists, we have produced our own versions of their work which are beautifully displayed in our cloakroom. We are very proud of our finished pieces.

In Maths we have been learning ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). It is very tricky to say some of these words! We have been practising by playing racing games to see who crosses the finish line first, second, third fourth and fifth.
