Well, Year 3 have been undertaking some different investigations to discover just that!
How many paper clips can a magnet hold in a chain?
How many pieces of paper can a magnet hold onto a magnetic board?
What is the weight of the heaviest object a magnet can hold?
What distance can a magnet pull a paper clip along the table?
However, the most exciting discovery was that a magnet is strong enough to attract paper clips without even touching them!
