Reception: Autumn Days

Reception have been looking closely at the changes that are taking place this season. We have been excited to go outside and explore these changes first hand! The children have been explaining their observations in their own words...

"These leaves are all yellow and browny and scrunchy because it's Autumn"

"I think they got all beautiful!"

"The wind just blow them out of the trees so they on the floor. They're crunchy when I scrunch them"

"The leaves change colour - like a rainbow - because it's Autumn now. They all fall off so new leaves can grow"

These observations have enticed the children to have a go at mixing their own autumnal colours during choosing time.
