For the last two weeks in year 5, the children have been working hard to construct a set of instructions on how to wash a pet of their choice. The children learnt the importance of having imperative verbs and time conjunctions in a set of instructions and were very successful in using them!
Both Miss Hodges and I were amazed at the children’s creativity and engagement in this writing unit and thought it would be lovely to share a few!
