Wow! What a week! The children have been immersed into a secret, forbidden garden during writing lessons and they have written about their journey to and their experiences inside the garden. The children have really grasped the tone of suspense and have created a dramatic atmosphere by using all of the success criteria we discussed. In maths, the children have been exploring the other end of the number line, decimals. We have been adding, comparing and ordering numbers with up to 3 decimal places!!! We were also lucky enough to have a visit from a PCSO from the local Police station, to start the children off on their 8 week programme with Mini Police.
