WATCH OUT! GIANT ABOUT!
Year 2 walked into school last week to discover a ginormous beanstalk growing in our cloakroom! Over the last two weeks we have been investigating who it could possibly belong to and what might be at the top of it. Using our knowledge, we thought it must be linked to Jack and the Beanstalk and it was! Only this time, it was a sequel - Jim and the beanstalk! We read the story and found out that Jim had helped the giant but the giant still wanted to eat him.
The following day we found giant footprints! Oh no! The giant had chased Jim down the beanstalk and was now roaming around Windhill2! As we were so worried about the giant (a child-eating one at that) being around the school we thought it was important to let everyone know so that they can keep on the look out to help us find him.
We created wanted posters and we were really careful to include detailed descriptions of the giant so that no one would get mistaken. We then published them so that they are ready to be displayed to warn everyone about this ferocious giant!
