Year 3 Towns Volcano chemical eruptions

Year 3 have been busy making their replica volcanoes for the past two days.
Today they experimented with different chemical reactions and chose, with their group, the chemical reaction they would like to use to simulate a volcanic eruption.
We then went out on the KS1 playground to watch the eruptions take place...
