We all need to play a part!

 This week Moore and Butler class completed a PSHE lesson about bullying. We learnt what bullying looks like, how it makes people feel, the roles that different people play and what we can do to unite against bullies! 

After a class discussion where children could voice their opinions and thoughts on the topic, we designed puzzle pieces which showed the parts that we would play to stop bullying in our school. These included, inviting others to play, respecting others,  celebrating differences and saying kind words! 

United against bullying

As part of Year 3's PSHE lessons, we've been taking part in Anti-Bullying Week. The children had a thoughtful and sensitive discussion about the roles they could play to help someone who was being bullied. We discussed bullying in schools, as well as in the wider community. As a class, the children passionately agreed they wanted to celebrate differences and stand up against bullying. We talked about the ways we could safely do this and discovered that we all have an important part to play.
