Year 2 Maths Workshop
On Monday, year 2 took part in a parent workshop. The children were able to show off their knowledge of the 5x table using different games that they really enjoy! It was great to show their parents how they are learning their times tables at school. Thanks to all the parents that came along!

Sometimes, always, never...
We explored some mathematical questions with a philosophical slant during this afternoon's maths meeting as part of recognising World Philosophy day. Here they are if you would like to try them out at home:
We came up with some novel ways of ordering!

Year 2 Maths Workshop
On Tuesday this week we had our maths workshop and what a great afternoon it was! The children were so excited to share the maths they had been learning with their grown ups and they did a stirling job. We can't wait to hold similar workshops in the future!

Nursery maths workshop
Potter class (am and pm) had a wonderful time taking part in maths workshops with their grown ups! The children were so engaged and excited to show off all of the different skills and activities we have been learning in nursery. A big thank you to all the parents who came along and took part in these workshops. We hope they were informative and gave you ideas for the kinds of activities you can be doing at home with your children too!

Year 3 Maths Parent Workshop
Thank you so much to all the parents who managed to join us this afternoon and who helped to make our maths workshop such a success.
Well done to all the Year 3 children who demonstrated their excellent understanding of the key mathematical skills they have been learning about so far this academic year.
If you did not manage to attend the workshop, or even if you did and really enjoyed the games, please find a copy of the instructions for all of the games in your child's homework folder this week. Please also find attached to these instructions a yellow maths workshop comment form. We would really appreciate some feedback from any adults who attended. Please return to your child's class teacher when completed.

Reception Maths Workshops
Today we had the pleasure of hosting our Reception Maths Workshop and we honestly cannot thank everybody enough for your attendance and enthusiasm for all of the activities provided.
It was lovely to see the children engage with you all in a range of different mathematical subjects. From numeral recognition to 3D shapes- you have now tried it all!
Above all we want to say how brilliant and well behaved all of the children were, we are proud of each and everyone of them! Hopefully they wowed you with how much their maths brains have grown!
Here are some photos from our session this morning:
