Into the attic....

In Literacy this week the children have been planning a suspense story.  After watching a video clip about a boy hearing a noise in the attic, the children acted out what he did next.  They then wrote sound bites giving their reason for the boy to stay in his room or go and investigate. 

They went into the immersion room which was set up like an old attic with lots of interesting things inside.  What could they see?  The children then wrote about what they saw and where the objects were positioned.  

I wonder what will happen next......
