Well what a very different but equally successful week of learning we have had! The children in Year 5 have settled so well back into this remote way of learning and they have consistently shown a positive attitude towards their work and they are continuing to be reflective learners, even at home! It is lovely to see that the children look forward to sharing their work with us and engage with the feedback and challenges we set! This week in writing lessons, the children have been creating a finding tale of their choice after looking at the structure of an existing finding tale and different grammatical features to support the journey of their story. In maths, the children have explored statistics which has varied from interpreting line graphs and tables to understanding Time Tables - which is so important for every day life. The children have also looked at mindfulness strategies to support them and their families through this unusual situation as well as ending the week with a melting chocolate experiment. Yum! We look forward to another busy week!
