Yesterday we listened to the story of the Gingerbread boy at carpet time. Afterwards we had a challenge of thinking how to help the Gingerbread man cross the river! Oliver thought a bridge would be a good idea and soon the whole nursery were busy making bridges for the Gingerbread boy so he could cross the river safely. The children looked at pictures of bridges to give them ideas and inspire them.
