Cake Sale Fundraising for Redwing Charity

Several children from Banksy class held their own cake sale in order to raise money for a cause close to their heart ' Redwing' who rescue abandoned, mistreated and neglected horses and donkeys from across the UK, giving them a safe place to live and providing essential veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and lifelong care.

Between them, they planned the fundraiser and visited all classes to inform them of the event and handed out their own made posters. The turn out was fantastic with many children around the school supporting them by bringing their own baked cakes.

It was a showing of great thought and consideration by the children to pull off the event and once again showed what Windhill21 is all about. The children raised over £100!!
