Using the words of Mrs Wilmot, it was an absolute pleasure and honour to take the children to Waterstones and watch them proudly and so valiantly deliver their non-chronological reports on fictional dragons to their peers, parents and teachers. We were blown away not just by the bravery it took to stand up and talk, but also by such imaginative and creative writing. The children really rose to the occasion and did Windhill21 extremely proud with their exemplary behaviour too. A real ‘lump in the throat’ moment for everyone. Well done Year 4.

Book launch - a tremendous success!
One of this year's highlights was the Waterstones book launch in Year 4. What an amazing way to learn about the role of an author and be inspired to write.
