Year 2 Medieval Day

On Wednesday we had our medieval day in year 2. What a historical day it was! First thing in the morning, we went out on the field and took part in a jousting event. Our lords, ladies, kings, queens, knights and dragons would have made fine jousters! After that we spent the rest of the morning making mini trebuchets which we then loaded and fired at a make shift castle to see how strong we were at attacking. Finally in the afternoon we hosted a medieval quiz and entertainment based on what we had learnt during our topic. We had a blast and loved dressing up for the day! Thanks to those who came along!
