Happy Easter from the Cassatt teachers

After hearing from a number of you earlier this week, we thought it would be nice to let you know what your teachers are up to over the Easter break!

In between busy school jobs (and lots of cups of tea!), Miss Lawrence has been inspired by the children to grow her own plants from seed! Here are her sweet pea seedlings, which are almost ready to go out into the garden. Some are a little bit shorter than the others. Can you see the tallest one? She also has been spotting a lot of wildlife in her garden, including blue tits and peacock butterflies, and she was even able to save a very tired little bee.

Now, as you know Miss Lawrence likes to snack on a little bit of chocolate, so she has also been making sure that she gets enough exercise by going out for a daily walk, doing some yoga, dancing and even doing a little bit of hop scotch!

During her walks, she found lots of lovely gems from the natural world and made them into a pretty piece of art using a strip of paper and some double-sided tape. What beautiful things can you find on your walks?

😊

Mrs Williams has been busy with her two boys, helping them with their school work and keeping them entertained with games and puzzles.

But you all know how Mrs Williams loves tidy up time - she has now finished tidying her WHOLE house and can now enjoy the sunshine in her garden. With a bike ride once a day and learning some new dance routines in the evening she sure is making sure she is doing her exercise. Mrs Williams even put her blue Christmas lights up to show her support for our NHS and shines them brightly when clapping at 8pm on Thursday evenings.

She misses you all very much, and can not wait to see you all, see how much you’ve grown and hear all about your adventures in this time when the world is just concentrating on getting better.

😊

Mrs Erdogan has been missing all the children and the grown ups in our class and seeing everyone's smiles and chatting to them. But she has been keeping very busy, playing some monopoly with her family and a lot of Dobble! She has also been listening to her daughter play the piano and has been busy tidying and reading and doing lots of Facetime calls with friends and family.

Mrs Erdogan loves sitting in the garden; her favourite spot is the swing with their cat Princess sitting underneath.  This is Princess doing her "Isolating Cat" pose!

Here's a picture of Mrs Erdogan's Guinea Pigs called Cookie and Oreo. Can you guess which one is which..?

Mrs Erdogan is really looking forward to seeing everyone soon when all this is over and hearing all the things that you have all been up to while we stay at home.

We will be listening out for all your claps and banging of pots and pans every Thursday for all our Key Workers!

😊

We wish you a happy and healthy Easter!
We hope you are able to enjoy a little sunshine,
a touch of chocolate, and a lot of smiles.

Have an eggs-tra special weekend! πŸ°
