Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air!
The children in Cassatt class have been so busy this week! Following on from my previous blog, lots more of you have been sharing your outdoor learning. Finley set up an experiment, planting plants inside and outside; he is going to see which plants grow best! Luke has also been busy weather watching, writing a daily forecast to keep track of those pesky clouds. Sebastian hopes to track the weather using his homemade chart.

Easter
For the next two weeks, I'm sure the children will enjoy a well deserved break from school activities! If you would like some fun ideas to try over Easter, have a look at the suggestions below.

Waxresisiteggs Rice krispie nests - such a cute easter treat/dessert idea for the ... 10 Kids Easter Craft Ideas - The Organised Housewife
Growing Cress Heads with Children - Kids Do GardeningFlower Printing | Learning 4 Kids

You could also have a look at some of the Easter activities on Purple Mash! Michelle and Darcie already got into the spirit of the season by decorating their own chocolate eggs!

Can you make a repeating pattern?

But most importantly, enjoy time with your families this Easter.
Wishing you a very happy and healthy break
Miss Lawrence
