Aboriginal art

Yesterday in key-worker bubble 3, we took a journey to Australia to see how the Aborigines communicated. We learnt that as they didn’t have a language as such, they used to use cave drawings and art to tell dreamlike scenes and stories.
After looking at some art and realising the key features were bright colours, dots and patterns of animals or circles, we decided to try and create some of our own. We had to remember that aboriginal art needed to be recognisable from a birds eye view, therefore, we thought using flat 2D shapes would work best.
