This week in Year 1 we have been very busy!
We started the week by planning and writing our diary entries about the Ducklings from Year 2 coming to visit us! We thought carefully about our use of vocabulary needed included time connectives and past tense verbs.
In Design and Technology we went to look at play equipment in our school to evaluate them, we talked about how they were joined and which materials were used to make it. This is going to prepare us for designing some play equipment for an African School.
Finally Science this week has been very smelly! The children closely observed some real fish, looking at their special features such as fins, scales and gills. They then made careful observational drawings and labelled them.
