Can we find a home for Spiky?

Miro Class want to help our friend Spiky the hedgehog who is lost! We decided to help him find his home in the forest. When we got to the forest we learned lots of vocabulary to use there.

We learned...
- the difference between a branch and a twig
- what 'vegetation' means
- where to find minibeasts (there were lots under the logs!)

When we were back in class we decided to make maps to help Spiky the hedgehog find his home in the forest. We thought very carefully about how to design our map and labelled the features using the vocabulary we learned.
