We were greeted with a less than charming email from Mr Mills. The science cupboard outside his office was an 'utter disgrace'. Lots of different materials were mixed up and hard to find different objects.
As a class, we investigated and compared the properties of the materials using new scientific vocabulary. We enjoyed comparing objects that were similar and had to think carefully about the states of matter.
We then sent a reply to Mr Mills to diffuse the situation. We decided to put materials into particular categories based on their properties.
We have thought about how we can test the materials even more by testing in water and electricity.
