African artists!

In KS2 this morning, we created some traditional African art. To create this type of art we dipped cotton buds into paint, to create small dot patterns onto black card. The results were very eye-catching and effective! We found that the closer together the dots and the use of contrasting colours helped to make the art stand out more. 

All of the children found this art session very therapeutic and we really enjoyed exploring different African art patterns on the internet.
