Love from Year 2...

Over the past few weeks,  Year 2 have been basing their writing on the book 'The Tadpole's Promise' by Jeanne Willis and Tony Ross.

It's a love story about a tadpole and a caterpillar with quite a shocking ending!

At the end of last week, we all had a go at writing our very own love letters by imagining that we were the characters in the book. Some of us also created some beautiful pictures and delicious cakes to go with our love letters. Below is a selection of some of the examples that the children created.

Aren't they great? We loved seeing all the description that the children included! We're certain that both the caterpillar and the tadpole would be completely wooed by these letters!
