This week, Year 4 got straight back into the swing of learning and have absolutely loved being back at school! As your teachers, we have been so proud of every single one of you!
In Maths, we took on the 8 timestable where we used repetition and our knowledge of the 4 timestable to learn it. To imbed our learning, we played games with our partners working on our quick recall skills.
We also continued to develop our oracy skills. In particular, we thought about how to develop conversations and ask questions in relation to what our peers had said. This meant that we were able to have longer, developed conversations about lockdown and our experiences. I was so impressed with how every single child participated and tried hard during this task.
Finally, we are all really enjoying our new writing topic, Feast. This is based on a short animation that we are re-writing part by part. So far, we have been amazed by what the children have written and are excited to read on!!
