This week Year 4 have started their new writing unit, a discussion text about homelessness. We were posed with the question, ‘Should we give money to homeless people on the street?’ We came up with arguments for and against this question and had a mini debate using our opinions. There was a split in the class. Could you discuss this at home?
We also did an investigation in science last week. We were investigating whether pitch was effected by the volume of air / water in the bottles. We made predictions and the class voted exactly 15/15 each way! Then we conducted a fair test to determine the outcome and concluded that the bottle with the most air / leats water in produced the lowest pitch sound.
