Savvy or Savage?

This is the question we have been debating in year 5 as we learn about the Ancient Maya. After locating modern day countries that the Ancient Maya lived, we tested our knowledge of the Ancient Maya deciding if statements were probably true, probably false or we need to find out. The most popular line of enquiry is to find out whether they were excellent farmers given the inhospitable environment.
