La semaine francaise - super chouette! It’s been French week for Year 6 here at Windhill. The children have enjoyed experiencing France through Art, Geography, History and Popular Culture. The week finished off with a typical French cafe with lots of regional delights accompanied by traditional French music. The pupils loved ordering their food and drink in French and have made huge progress in their conversational language throughout the week. We’ve made strong links with our topics, discussing various battles of WW1 that were fought in France and even squeezed in a tour of Bishops Stortford with a local Historian who brought WW1 in our local area back to life!
