Spelling
Today in school, year 3 have had a great session practicing some key spellings. We tested our memory of common exception and high frequency words that we have learnt across years 1, 2 and 3!
After this, we put the children's knowledge to the test and checked how well they could remember the important words we have been learning in our English topic this week. Words such as:
Graffiti
Exhibition
Artist
Gallery
The children had to spell these words first on their whiteboards and then they were encouraged to use their whiteboard pens and a range of watercolours to "graffiti" onto their desks. The children loved the chance to get creative with spelling... we just hope that the faint colour stains disappear soon! Great work everyone, well done!
