We've had a lovely few weeks in year 2. In Maths we have been adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers using manipulatives to support or learning. In English we have learnt the story 'the dragon machine' and are currently creating our own dragon problem stories. We are becoming expert historians in Topic, learning all about why castles were built and what they looked like inside. On Friday we received a letter from Mr Gibbs telling us the forest might be chopped down! All is well though as we did some amazing persuasive letters back to him using all of our scientific knowledge on habitats and he has since re-considered.
