Year 3 Egyptian Workshop

Year 3 had an exciting day on Tuesday 8th May as they took part in their very own Egyptian Workshop.


They rehearsed calling out Egyptian newspaper headlines which helped them project their voices.
They worked in small groups to perform an ongoing drama to show part of the mummification process.
They worked in larger groups to re-enact a frieze painting showing the daily lives of Ancient Egyptian farmers.
They performed their Amun Ra (the Sun God) chants in small groups.
They worked with a partner to create a short dramatic piece to show what they believe would have happened when Amun Ra met a monster in the Underworld.
