What a interesting time we have been having in year three! In RE, we have been finding out more about Jesus and have ordered some significant events of his life on a timeline. The children asked some thoughtful questions that we hope to answer over the coming term. In maths we have been challenging ourselves with some brand new learning! We now know a number of new irregular shapes and have been working out the perimeter of different rectangles. We are going to be delving further into geometry with angles soon!
We braved the freezing temperatures this week to continue our cricket learning journey with Dan the fabulous cricket man. This time, we were practising bowling techniques. It has been incredible to see the children make so much progress in just one lesson.
To finish our week, we had a brilliant time at Bishop's Stortford College watching Chris Riddell, an incredible illustrator and author! The children were impeccably behaved and we were very proud of them. We were lucky to come away with two signed illustrations!
