As part of our English writing lesson this week, we created poems inspired by our new topic, the Suffragettes: clever or criminal? The children created powerful poems using nouns and verbs, which were appropriate to show their understanding of the chaos created from some of the actions the Suffragettes took. Such as, throwing rocks through windows to get their message heard.
