Greek Olympic Day Year 6

Year 6 had an amazing Greek Extravaganza this week. Dressed in authentic Greek attire, the children experienced a range of delicious Greek delicacies thanks to a Nostimo, the Greek deli on South Street. They learned about the origins of the laurel crown and made their own ;they competed in a fabulous re enactment of the Ancient Olympics and were were quizzed on the history of this sporting event. Thank you to all the parents for their support with costumes, donations and coming to watch the activities. It was certainly a memorable day for the children.
