Year 4 Antarctic Food Web

Today in science Year 4 investigated the effects of global warming on the Krill population. We found out that krill have been declining since then1970’s all due to sea ice melting which is a direct result from global warming. Since Antarctic krill have been decreasing this has had a knock on effect to the rest of the eco-system manning that penguins, leopard seals and small toothed whales have all been affected.
Using various sources the children created their own food web. Here is Sam Lewis and Joshua Bateman’s food web.
