In year 5 we have been focusing on writing speeches around our topic of equality between men and women. We used a range of sources to infer what they might suggest about equality today. We found out that the top 8 richest people were men. However we questioned why they were men and how they made such money. We have had lively debates and will be performing these speeches in class to develop our oracy skills.
In maths, we are continuing to working on multiplying fractions by whole numbers.
With our concert fast approaching, we have been learning lots of songs and it is all sounding great!
