This afternoon, Year 4 were lucky enough to visit the Festival of Literature where Petr Horacek and Vivian French presented to us. They have written lots of books for children and illustrated them with brilliant images.
Together, we wrote a story about a pig called Daisy who was sad because she was being picked on by her friends for wearing a bow in her hair. Visiting a dragon nearby to make her feel better didn’t work as he burnt her bow off! Luckily, the dragon brought the bow back to her at school although he scared all of her friends! Seeing Daisy with the dragon, her friends realised they were wrong and should be friends with her again! It was a happy ending.
