Over the past two weeks, the children have been focusing on 'teen' numbers in maths. We have used cubes, counters, tens frames and bead strings to represent the numbers and find one more and one less. We have been to the computer suite to practise writing and recognising our teen numbers.
Touch was our sense we were focusing on in science this week! The children had different objects in socks and had to use their sense of touch to describe it and decide what they thought the object was.
We have been continuing our learning about Africa this week by using Google Earth. We compared a village in Africa with a village in the UK and discussed the differences between a city, a village and a town.
