This afternoon in Year 5, we discussed why we wear poppies and why we commemorate the 11th of November each year. The children showed their respects and discussed lots of feelings the soldiers and their families may have felt during the war. The children then created some beautiful poppy drawings to show their respect. Lest we forget.
