There’s a dragon’s egg in Windhill21!

Today we were surprised to discover an unidentified object in the field! We watched some interviews of a police officer, a dragonologist, Mrs Mills, Mr Nunwa and Mr Smith. They told us that it was a dragon’s egg!

We went and saw the dragon’s egg and couldn’t believe it! There was police tape all around it. It was covered in fiery scales and was laying on singed twigs and sticks. We talked about what it could be and what might have happened. We felt shocked, excited and a little bit scared! Where was the mummy dragon? What would we do if it hatched!

We interviewed each other about what had happened. One person acted as the reporter asking questions, and the other answered them. We even used microphones!

Some scientists in Cambridge wanted to see what it looked like so we made little models of the egg. We used hard-boiled eggs as a base and plasticine for the scales. We used metallic paint to make it look realistic.

We have heard that the newspaper are coming to write a report on it to tell everyone in Bishop’s Stortford. What will happen next?!
