What an egg-straordinary start to the term we have had in Year 5! We kicked off the week with an un-egg-spected arrival in our school field. The children had to put on their detective hats and investigate the 5Ws surrounding this unusual finding. For the rest of the week in our Writing lessons, we have been crafting our newspaper articles as journalists. For Maths this week, the children have been working really hard to work out the area of regular and irregular shapes. The children also had the brilliant treat of a Music assembly - finally - where they were able to show off their Samba Skills.
