Power of Pictures Oracy in Year 1

 In Year 1 we looked at this image and talked in our trios about what we thought was happening.

 We had lots of interesting ideas about what could be happening in the picture and why. Lots of us thought the children were sad because the trees had gone. We talked about why the trees might have disappeared from this place.
