Year 4 Newsletter

What a start to the new half term in Year 4!  We have branched out in science, collaged in art, subtracted in maths, created expanded noun phrases in literacy and started rehearsing for our Year 4 music festival!   Despite this, our highlight of the week, has to be the visit to the London Transport museum on Thursday where we collected lots of evidence to consider our bigger question about whether the Victorians all loved the idea of the world's first Underground Railway. It was a thrilling experience to sit inside the world's first udnerground train which was powered by steam.  As some of our children pointed out, that was a preposterous idea!!!!!  (Though possibly not as crazy as an electric train without windows or doors!)
