Rousseau homelearning

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has been sending in photographs of themselves and their work! It has been great to see what you have all been getting up to! Please continue to send your work to Rousseau@windhill.herts.sch.uk.

As we begin our second week of home learning, please continue to keep up the hard work you've all been putting in! I will continue to set Mathletics homework every few days but it is so important that you complete the assigned activities as unfortunately lots of children have not. This coming week, we will continue to work in the same format as last week.
Mathletics - 2/3 activities each day
English - Spelling each day
DADWAVERS writing each day (I will be sending some more information on our grammar focuses in year 4)
Reading - 30 minutes each day and complete a book review of your favourite books! I would love to see which books you recommend.
Science - 2 science experiments over the week (from Science Sparks website or from your own research)
Topic - As we won't get the opportunity to finish our art project this term, you could paint/draw your own scene of Antarctica using                           George Marston's artwork as inspiration.
             Viking research.
Make your own Viking shield and sword - maybe even reenact a battle!
Write using Viking runes (I will send more information about this).
Please also find photos of other things you have been up to this week!
Tiaan completed a science experiment involving raisins, baking soda and water. I have the instructions if you would like a go!
Chloe has been baking Viking bread! Attached is the recipe so that you can give it a go too!

Tamsin has made her Viking shield and is ready for battle!
