Year 1 Newsletter

Year 1 have had a fantastic fortnight! In science, we have been exploring ways of classifying animals. So far, we have looked at amphibians, reptiles and fish. We have discussed the key features of these animals and why they are classified together.

In topic, we have been comparing African food with food we eat in the UK. We have been drawing a dinner plate from Africa and a dinner plate from the UK. 

In English, we have been starting to plan our non-chronological report based on Elephants. We have been very busy learning lots of different facts to write on our report.
